Athol Girls Top Drury in Two OTs

ATHOL, Mass. — Athol’s Emily Casella scored 26 points on Saturday to lead her team to a 58-54 double-overtime win over Drury.

 

The Blue Devils (2-2) overcame a four-point deficit going into the fourth quarter to force OT.

 

Katylyn Toomey scored 13 of her team-high 21 in the fourth quarter. She connected on three 3-pointers in the fourth and scored Drury’s only points in the first OT to push the game to a second extra frame.

 

Sarah Lamarre scored 10 points, and Molly Moulton added six for Drury.

 

The Blue Devils are off until Dec. 30, when they host Lenox.
