Williams' Double-Double Helps Lift Lee over Monson

MONSON, Mass. — Karli Retzel led three Lee girls basketball players in double figures as the Wildcats defeated Monson, 46-37, in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament.

Retzel tied for game-high honors with 12 points, and Kendra Williams and Mikayla DiSantis scored 10 apiece.

Williams had a double double with 11 rebounds as well.

Miranda Coutuse scored 12 to lead Monson (12-9).

Sixth-seeded Lee (13-9) will face second-seeded Mount Everett (17-4) in the semi-finals next week at Curry Hicks Cage.
