Retzel Leads Lee Girls in Overtime Win

LEE, Mass. -- Karli Retzel scored 12 points Friday to lead the Lee High girls basketball team to a 39-38 overtime win over Lenox.

 

Alice Najimy scored a game-high 17 for the Millionaires, who overcame a two-point deficit going into the fourth quarter to tie it at 32-32 and force OT.

 

Four different players scored for the Wildcats (7-7) in the extra session. Cara Walker, Brianna Hawley and Retzel each had a field goal, and Mikayla DeSantis scored her only points of the game, a 3-pointer.

 

Kendra Williams scored eight, and Walker added seven for Lee, which hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.

 

Lenox (2-10) hosts Hopkins on Saturday.
