Steinman Scores 21 in Generals' Win

LEE, Mass. — Peyton Steinman scored 21 points and passed out six assists to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 62-40 win over Lee on Friday night.

 

Bella Aitken scored 13, and Allie Hunt scored nine with eight rebounds for the Generals.

 

Pittsfield scored 22 points in the first quarter and led by 18 at half-time en route to its third straight win to open season.

 

Karli Retzel scored 18 points, and Brianna Hawley added eight for the Wildcats (1-2).

 

Pittsfield travels to Glens Falls, N.Y, for a holiday tournament on Monday, Dec. 28.

 

Lee hosts Mount Everett on Monday in the South County Tournament.
