Lucey, Bourdon Lead Monument Mountain Past Lee

Ynes Bourdon scored 14 points for the Spartans, who improved to 2-14 despite dealing with foul trouble to one of their key contributors.
Polly Geddes was in foul trouble all night and picked up her fifth foul with five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
“In place of her, sophomore Ynes Bourdon and senior Ava Ross stepped in and played great defensively and were great on the glass,” Monument Mountain coach Joseph Valerio said.
“Big night as well from sophomore Mallory Lucey. She’s really finding her groove and coming into her own right now. I’m very proud of her progression throughout the season.”
Giana Carlino scored a game-high 21 points for Lee, which got 11 points from Mia Puleri.
The Wildcats (8-6) go to Pioneer Valley on Tuesday.
Monument Mountain Tuesday hosts Taconic.
