Diller, Wildcats Top Putnam

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Mika Diller scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds Thursday to lead the Lee girls basketball team to a 47-28 win over Putnam Vocational.

 

Gianna Carlino scored nine points and Leanna Driscoll added eight for the Wildcats, who held Putnam to just 11 points in the second half.

 

“A strong defensive performance by the girls tonight,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “We did a great job with ball pressure and got some easy baskets off of turnovers.”

 

Lee (1-1) goes to Renaissance on Tuesday.
