Tatro Leads Hornets to Senior Night Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Macey Tatro scored 17 points, and the McCann Tech girls basketball team Monday overcame a two-point deficit going into the fourth quarter to earn a 38-34 win over Lee on Senior Night for the Hornets.

 

“Great win on Senior NIght,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “The girls held strong and did a nice job. Addie Hayer did an amazing job on defense. Macey Tatro did a great job on the boards. Catryna Marsh made many key rebounds and assists. Emily Glasier hit some key 3-pointers.

 

“Great job by the seniors.”

 

Tatro scored four of her points in the fourth quarter, when McCann Tech outscored the Wildcats 12-6.

 

Glasier finished with 11 points, including 9 from behind the arc. Hannah Boisvert scored five in the win.

 

Mia Puleri scored 16 points to lead Lee, which got six points apiece from Kenzie Garrity and Leanna Driscoll.

 

Lee (2-12) hosts Easthampton on Thursday.

 

McCann Tech (4-9) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday’s game at Renaissance.
