Fast Start Propels Lee Girls Past Pioneer Valley

LEE, Mass. -- Emma Puleri scored 11 of her game-high 20 points in the first quarter Friday to lead the Lee girls basketball team to a 61-35 win over Pioneer Valley.

 

The Wildcats (2-1) jumped out to a 25-5 lead after eight minutes and never looked back.

 

Lydia Simone and Lena Simone each scored 11 points, and Caroline Maloney and Carina Brown scored six apiece.

 

Lee Monday hosts Mount Everett.
