Pope Francis Girls Top Wahconah

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Maeve Turmel scored 15 points Monday to lead the Pope Francis girls basketball team to a 58-36 win over Wahconah.
 
The Cardinals took control of the game with a 21-8 third quarter to take a 44-30 lead.
 
Danielle Hagmaier and Madison McCarthy led Wahconah with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
 
Wahconah (2-2) hosts Palmer on Friday.
