Frontier Boys Come Back to Beat Lenox
LENOX, Mass. – Max Millette scored 21 points Friday to lead the Frontier boys basketball team to a 57-52 win over Frontier.
Duke Jaehnig scored 17 points, and Jason Sibley added 11 for the Millionaires, who jumped out to a 19-12 lead in the first quarter.
Lenox coach Bailey Patella said his team “let off the gas” after the quick start.
“It was a back and forth game until late in the fourth when they took the lead by six,” Patella said. “Jaydee Reber (seven points) hit back to back 3s to tie the game up.
“They came down and hit a 3 with about 2:30 left in the game and we couldn’t come back from it.”
Lenox (3-8) goes to Pioneer Valley on Monday.
