Pittsfield Boys Use Balanced Attack to Open with Road Win

“Today's game was what we had hoped for in our season opener,” Pittsfield coach Brandon Mauer said. “Good defensive pressure all the way around from our guys and a balanced attack. Ludlow came out and played with a lot of effort and intensity, but the defensive pressure had them turnover the ball early.”
Carter Matthews and Kymani Harley each scored 13, and 11 different Generals contributed points as Pittsfield built a 74-28 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Pittsfield (1-0) goes to Holyoke on Thursday.
