Hanavan Leads Monument Mountain Boys Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Connor Hanavan scored 18 points Monday to lead the Monument Mountain boys basketball team to a 62-43 win over Mount Everett.

 

Dion Brown scored 12, and Zach Goffin added 10 for the Spartans, who jumped out to a 27-7 lead after the first quarter.

 

Jack Carpenter had a triple double for Mount Everett with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

 

The Eagles (1-4) host Shepaug Valley on Friday.

 

Monument Mountain (3-1) goes to Hampshire on Friday.
