Racette Leads Drury Boys to Fourth Win
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Reece Racette scored 18 points and dished out five assists to lead the Drury boys basketball team to a 60-53 win over Monument Mountain in the championship game of the Gene Wein Holiday Tournament on Tuesday night.
Drury trailed by one going to the fourth quarter but scored 22 points in the last eight minutes to earn its fourth win in four outings this winter.
Hayden Bird scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked two shots for the Blue Devils, who got nine points apiece from Chrstian Montoya and Connor Meehan.
Drury (4-0) hosts St. Joseph on Monday.
Monument (1-2) faces Lenox at Lenox on Tuesday in the South County Tournament.
