Paris, Foehl Lead Mount Greylock Boys to Win in Opener

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Freshman Derek Paris scored 21 points Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 49-31 win over Greenfield.

 

The Mounties (1-0) held the Green Wave to two points in the first quarter on the way to taking a 30-13 half-time lead.

 

Toby Foehl scored 16, and Paris and Foehl each hit three 3-pointers in the win.

 

Mount Greylock goes to South Hadley on Thursday.
