Just like on the girls side, there was too much talent this winter in Berkshire County League boys basketball to limit the Most Valuable Player award to a single student-athlete.

The county's boys basketball coaches instead named Taconic senior Quentin Gittens and Drury High senior Reece Racette co-MVPs after each led his team to a Western Massachusetts championship.

Each also is joined by one of his teammates on the all-Berkshire team named by the league's coaches.

That squad includes Taconic's Isaac Percy, Drury's Scott McGuire Jr., Wahconah's Tom Burris, Monument Mountain's Dion Brown and Lee's Ben Harding.

The coaches also named all-star teams for each of the league's two divisions.

The all-North team included Taconic's Quincy Davis and Mohammed Sanogo, Wahconah's Kevin Huban and Tom O'Connor, Pittsfield's Carter Matthews and Joe Cracolici and Hoosac Valley's Izaha Stubbs.

The all-South team featured Lenox's Nick Nicotra and Jett Steinman, Mount Greylock's Toby Foehl and Derek Paris, Lee's Myles Whitney-Nason and Cole Redstone, Mount Everettt's Patrick Silk and Jack Carpenter and Monument Mountain's Noel Powell.
