Waterman, Hoosac Valley Boys Beat Greylock in OT

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nick Waterman scored 23 points, and Izaha Stubbs scored seven in overtime Saturday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 72-66 win over Mount Greylock at MCLA.

 

Stubbs finished the game with 15 for the Hurricanes, who also got 11 from Vance Eugene.

 

Mount Greylock's Toby Foehl and Cole Wojtkowski each scored 19 points, and Sam Dils scored 16.

 

Dils scored eight, and Wojtkowski scored 13 -- including three 3-pointers -- in the fourth quarter, when the Mounties outscored Hoosac Valley, 28-16, to force OT.

 

Mount Greylock (5-5) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (7-2) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
