Stubbs Leads Hoosac Valley Boys Past Lenox
CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Izaha Stubbs scored 18 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 68-49 win over Lenox.
After leading, 26-21, at half-time, the Hurricanes broke the game open with a 24-point third quarter.
Vance Eugene (15 points) and Joe Delmolino each hit 3-pointers in the quarter.
Delmolino and Nicholas Waterman each finished with eight points in the win.
Nicholas Nicotra scored 10, and Noah Farevaag had nine for Lenox (0-8), which hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
Hoosac Valley (5-2) goes to Cardinal Spellman on Saturday.
