Hoosac Boys Come Up Short in Second Half

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Nathaniel Kingsley scored 10 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Rutland, Vt., boys basketball team to a 71-47 win over Hoosac Valley on Tuesday night.

 

The Hurricanes (2-3) went to the locker room tied, 32-32, but managed just 15 points in the second half.

 

Rutland’s Kyle Cassarino led all scorers with 26 points.

 

Jameson Coughlan scored 25 to lead Hoosac, which got 11 points from Matt Koperniak.

 

The Hurricanes host Sabis on Tuesday night.
