Hoosac Valley Boys Win Tourney Consolation

SAUGUS, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley boys basketball team defeated Saugus Monday afternoon, 63-50, in the consolation round of Saugus' holiday tournament.

 

Hoosac got an early lead on Saugus in the first quarter, putting 15 points while allowing just three.

 

At half-time Saugus trailed by three points, 29-26.

 

Hoosac's, Jameson Coughlan finished with 22 points, Austin Milesi had 10, and Peter Barrow had nine.

 

The Hurricanes travel to Wahconah on Friday.
