Hoosac Valley Boys Drop Hard-Fought Battle at Pioneer Valley
NORTHFIELD, Mass. – Brayden Thayer scored 20 points Friday to lead the Pioneer Valley boys basketball team to a 51-43 win over Hoosac Valley.
“It was a very competitive game throughout until [Alex] McCllelland hit a big 3 with the shot clock winding down at about the two-minute mark of the fourth quarter, giving Pioneer a nine-point lead,” Hoosac Valley coach Bill Robinson said.
McClelland finished with 15 points in the win.
Qwanell Bradley scored 18 points, and Adan Wicks added 12 for the Hurricanes.
Hoosac Valley (2-2) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
