Field Leads Hurricanes in Comeback Win

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley boys basketball team Monday rallied from an eight-point deficit midway through the fourth quarter to earn a 70-65 win over Easthampton.

 

Frank Field scored eight of his team-high 23 points in the fourth quarter.

 

Field finished with a double-double and flirted with a triple-double, pulling down 11 rebounds and passing out eight assists.

 

Qwanell Bradley scored 14 for the Hurricanes, who got 12 from Joey McGovern and 11 from Trevor Moynihan.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-0) travels to Baystate Academy next Monday.
