Levesque, Hoosac Valley Boys Win on Senior Night

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Luc Levesque scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds on Senior Night as the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team beat Lee, 72-34, on Thursday.

 

Levesque was the lone senior playing in his final home game for the Hurricanes, who moved to 16-2 on the season.

 

Joey McGovern scored a game-high 12 points, and Carson Meczywor added 11 in a balanced scoring attack.

 

In addition to Levesque, Logan Davis and Frank Field each scored nine, and Shaun Kastner added eight as all the Hurricanes who played got into the scoring column.

 

Evan Heath, Timothy Besaw and Gabe Kelley each scored seven for Lee.

 

Hoosac Valley finishes the season on Friday night at Drury.
