Taconic Boys Punch Ticket to Western Mass Tournament

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Isaac Percy scored 33 points Friday as the Taconic boys basketball team clinched a berth in the Western Massachusetts tournament with an 82-52 win over Pope Francis.

 

Ezekiel Percy scored 13, and Mohammed Sanogo added 12 for Taconic, which outscored the Cardinals, 23-0, in the second quarter after leading by just one point after the first.

 

Defending Western Massachusetts Division 2 Champion Taconic (10-4) will look to improve its tournament seed starting with Tuesday’s game at Drury.
