Taconic Boys Rout Hoosac for 12th Straight

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Quincy Davis scored 21 points, and the Taconic boys basketball team Thursday took an 85-47 lead into the fourth quarter before cruising to a 98-60 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Davis hit a game-high five 3-pointers on the way to his game-high point total.

 

Isaac Percy scored 20, and Anton Wright added 13 as Taconic scored just shy of 100 for the second time in six games and won its 12th straight.

 

Three players finished in double figures for Hoosac Valley. Izaha Stubbs hit four 3s and finished with 16. Carson Meczywor scored 15, and Joe Delmolino added 10.

 

The Hurricanes (5-9) host Pittsfield on Tuesday.

 

Taconic (13-3) plays Pittsfield at the Boys & Girls Club next Friday, Feb. 8.
