Mestre Scores 30 to Lead Taconic at HoopHall Classic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Izaiya Mestre scored 30 points Thursday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 78-58 win over Sabis at the Spalding HoopHall Classic at Springfield College.

 

Devon Walker and Drew DeMartino added 11 and 10, respectively, and Brett Murphy and Deonte Sandifer scored eight apiece for Taconic, which won its third straight to start the 2017 portion of its schedule.

 

Taconic (9-1) hosts Wahconah next Wednesday before going to city rival Pittsfield on Friday night.
