Taconic Downs Northampton to Go to 2-0

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Izaiya Mestre scored 24 points Tuesday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 66-60 win over Northampton.

 

Taconic got 11 points from Jack Cooney and 10 from Brett Murphy in improving to 2-0 on the young season.

 

Taconic hosts Pope Francis on Friday night at the BasketBull HoopFest at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
