Santos, Taconic Boys Roll over West Side

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Ceasar Santos scored 14 points, and the Taconic boys basketball team Friday rode a big second quarter to a 78-46 win over West Springfield.

 

The Thunder outscored the Terriers, 23-1, in the second to take a 41-16 lead into half-time.

 

Nate Reynolds scored 13, and Evan Roccabruna and Kyle McGrath added 10 apiece.

 

Quincy King and Martin Boua each scored nine in the win.

 

Taconic (5-1) takes on Pittsfield on Monday at the Boys and Girls Club.
