Sistrunk Leads Taconic Boys in Road Win

AGAWAM, Mass. -- Jamal Sistrunk scored 18 points, and the Taconic boys basketball team Friday snapped a two-game skid with a 78-71 win over Agawam.

 

Five Taconic players finished in double figures.

 

Nate Reynolds finished with 15, and Christian Maturevich scored 13. Kyle McGrath and Martin Boua added 11 and 10, respectively.

 

All of McGrath's points came in the third quarter, when Taconic outscored its hosts, 29-17, to take a 22-point lead into the fourth quarter.

 

Taconic (11-4) hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.
