McGrath Leads Way as Taconic Clinches Tourney Berth

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Kyle McGrath scored 13 points Tuesday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 51-37 win over West Springfield.

 

Christian Maturevich and Jamal Sistrunk added 12 and 11 points, respectively, as the Thunder qualified for the state tournament with its sixth straight win and 10th win overall.

 

Taconic (10-2) will play Pittsfield on Friday night at the Boys and Girls Club.
