Sandifer, Thunder Top Minnechaug

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Tayvon Sandifer scored 16 points to lead a balanced attack, and the Taconic boys basketball team overcame an early deficit to earn a 75-65 win over Minnechaug on Tuesday.

 

The Falcons led, 20-17, after one quarter, but the Thunder came back to take a two-point lead at half-time.

 

Jamal Sistrunk scored 14 points, and Maimoudou Bamba and Cesar Santos added 12 and 10, respectively, in the win.

 

Taconic (9-2) hosts West Springfield on Friday.
