Taconic Boys Back in State Semis for Fourth Straight Year

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Sean Harrigan scored 24 points Friday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team back to the state semi-finals for the fourth straight year with an 88-61 win over Hopkins Academy in the Division 5 quarter-finals.

 

Sam Sherman scored 21, and Tayvon Sandifer and Christian Maturevich added 16 and 13, respectively, as the Thunder won its eighth straight game

 

Andrew Ciaglo scored a game-high 29 to lead the Golden Hawks.

 

Taconic (20-4) advances to next week’s state semis and a date against Paulo Freire, which beat Hull, 85-63, on Friday night.
