Taconic Boys Rally Past Amherst

AMHERST. Mass. – Sean Harrigan scored 25 points Friday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 54-49 win over Amherst.

 

Taconic outscored the Hurricanes, 17-11, in the fourth quarter to overcome a slight deficit and win its 11th straight.

 

Tayvon Sandifer and Maimoudou Bamba each scored 10 points in the win.

 

Isa Castro-McCauley scored 22 to lead Amherst.

 

Taconic (11-1) hosts Pittsfield on Monday.
