Sandifer Leads Taconic Boys Past Agawam

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Tayvon Sandifer scored 23 points Saturday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 63-60 win over Agawam.

 

Sam Sherman scored 21, and Sean Harrigan added 17 in the win.

 

Taconic held off an Agawam comeback bid in the fourth quarter, which saw the visitors score 25 points to cut into a 10-point deficit.

 

Taconic (7-1) goes to Sci-Tech on Sunday.
