Ware Boys Basketball Tops Mount Everett in Season-Opener

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Colin Doty scored 14 points Thursday to lead the Ware boys basketball team to a 56-16 win over Mount Everett in the first round of the season-opening Franklin Tech Tournament.

 

Anthony Kushi scored five to lead the Eagles (0-1).

 

"Young team with a lot of nervousness tonight," Mount Everett coach Jowe Warren said. "We're looking to bounce back [Friday] night versus the loser of Franklin Tech and Mohawk."
