Mount Everett Pulls Away in Second Quarter for Win

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Michael Ullrich scored 18 points Monday to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 68-51 win over Westfield Tech.

 

Matt Lowe scored 16, and Sean Warren added 14 in the win.

 

The Eagles took control of the game in the second quarter, when they outscored the Tigers, 20-4, to take a 31-14 lead into the locker room. Lowe scored seven points in the decisive quarter.

 

Mount Everett (13-5) waits to learn its quarter-final opponent in next week’s Western Massachusetts regional tournament.
