Ziemba Leads McCann Tech Boys in Road Win

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Tom Ziemba scored 15 points, and the shorthanded McCann Tech boys basketball team earned a 70-44 win over Smith Vocational.

 

“We played without Bruce Davis and Darius Tovani due to illness,” McCann Tech coach Chris Bullett said. “Everyone stepped up, and we got great minutes from the bench. Connor Griswold and Tom Ziemba gave us great minutes.”

 

Griswold scored 10 points as four Hornets finished in double figures. Nick LaForest and Darian Tovani finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

 

McCann Tech (5-2) hosts St. Mary’s on Monday.
