Davis Leads McCann Tech Boys Past Duggan

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Bruce Davis scored 12 of his 24 points in a decisive third quarter Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 71-55 win over Duggan Academy.

 

The Hornets went into the third quarter ahead by just one, 27-26, but outscored the visitors, 28-16, to take a commanding lead.

 

“Bruce Davis was great on offense and defense,” McCann Tech coach Chris Bullett sid. “Connor Griswold stepped in and gave us some great minutes, and Darius Tovani really was a leader from the point guard spot.”

 

Darian Tovani and Nick LaForest each scored 11, and Lucas Jamros had 10 for the Hornets.

 

McCann Tech (3-2) hosts Pioneer Valley Christian on Wednesday.
