Duggan Boys Pull Away from McCann Tech in Second Half

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Allen Miranda scored 21 points Thursday to lead the Duggan Academy boys basketball team to a 66-51 win over McCann Tech.

 

Jacob Howland connected six times from behind the 3-point line and finished with a game-high 23 points for McCann Tech.

 

Walter Mazza scored 14, and Zach Howland added six for the Hornets.

 

Duggan overcame a one-point half-time deficit and took control with a 17-9 third quarter in which Matthew Smith and Caleb Murphy scored eight and six points, respectively.

 

McCann Tech (10-4) hosts Ludlow on Monday
