Mazza, McCann Tech Stop Westfield Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Walter Mazza scored 18 points Friday to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 62-45 win over Westfield Tech.

 

The Hornets jumped out to a 23-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in improving to 4-2 this winter.

 

Jacob Howland scored seven of his eight points in that first quarter, which also saw Mazza score six.

 

Zach Howland scored 16 points in the win.

 

McCann Tech hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
