Paulo Friere Boys Knock Out McCann Tech

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Emmanuel Cruz scored 19 points on Monday to lead the Paulo Fiere boys basketball team to a 73-46 win over McCann Tech in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C tournament.

 

Jacob Howland scored 13 points, an Eric Rougeau and Colby Marko added 10 apiece for McCann Tech.

 

The Hornets (10-9) finish the regular season on Wednesady at Renaissance.

 

Top-seeded Paulo Friere moves on to host No. 4 Drury on Wednesday in the regional semi-finals.
