Three from McCann Tech Garner All-League Recognition

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Three McCann Tech student-athletes have been named to their respective all-league teams for the 2019-20 basketball season.

 

Senior Lucas Jamros scored nearly eight points per game in helping the Hornets' boys team to a 9-11 season that ended with a seven-point loss on the final day of the regular season.

 

Jamros was named to the all-Tri County North boys team.

 

On the girls side, Izzy LaCasse and Grace Towler were named to the all-Franklin West squad.

 

Towler, a junior, averaged 9.4 points per game and knocked down a team-leading 1.4 3-pointers per game this winter.

 

LaCasse, a sophomore, led McCann Tech with just less than 17 points per game, helping the Hornets go 11-10 in a year that ended in a three-point loss in the Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament.
