After starting the season off 0-2, Taconic has gotten back on track winning five straight games. With a tough opening schedule, it's no wonder Taconic finds itself in the No. 1 spot in our Power Rankings.

2. Wahconah
Record 4-1
With wins against Monument Mountain and Lenox, it would be hard to ignore this Wahconah team. They’ve shown grit with three games already being decided by four points or less. Something that will benefit them come tourney time.

3. Monument Mountain
Record 5-1
Southern Division leaders, Monument Mountain comes in at #3 with a strong 5-1 record. Undefeated at home and riding on the shoulders of Dec. 30 iBerkshires.com/Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Athlete of the Week Dion Brown, Monument has won their past four games by 18-plus.

4. Mount Greylock
Record 3-2
An 0-2 start to the season hasn’t slowed the Mounties down as they pick up three straight wins including a game in which they overcame a fourth-quarter double digit deficit against Pittsfield.

5. Lenox
Record 5-2
Maybe a surprise to some, but with only two losses coming to the top teams in the North, Lenox is looking like a team to take seriously.
