Bird, Blue Devils Back to .500 with Road Win

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Hayden Bird scored 25 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and passed out six assists as the Drury boys basketball team snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 65-53 win over Monument Mountain on Friday night.

 

Drury (8-8) went to the fourth quarter down by five points but outscored the Spartans, 26-9 in that quarter to get back to the .500 mark with four games left in the season.

 

Connor Meehan scored 17 points, and Reece Racette scored 11 with six boards.

 

Drury travels to Lenox on Tuesday.
