Pantoja Sparks Drury Boys

SOUTH DEERFIELD -- Isaiah Pantoja scored 16 points on four 3-pointers and passed out three assists as the Drury High School boys basketball team beat Frontier, 48-46, on Tuesday night.

Nolan Bird scored 11 and grabbed 12 rebounds while blocking five shots and adding three assists for the Blue Devils (6-8), who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Kareen Beckett scored eight with four rebounds and two assists for Drury.

The Blue Devils will look to avenge an earlier loss to rival Hoosac Valley and keep their Western Massachusetts tournament hopes alive on Friday when the Hurricanes visit Bucky Bullett Gymnasium.
