Drury Earns Upset Win in Semi-Finals

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Louis Guillotte scored 28 points Wednesday to lead the Drury boys basketball team to a 51-46 win over top-seeded Paulo Freire in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C tournament.

 

Amont David scored 16 points for the Blue Devils, who outscored the hosts, 11-5, in the fourth quarter to come from behind for the win.

 

Guillotte and David also pulled down a team-high eight rebounds apiece.

 

Sam Moorman had eight boards to go along with four points.

 

Dante Dillard passed out three assists for Drury.

 

The Blue Devils (11-9) move on to Saturday's championship game against Greenfield, to be played at 6 p.m. at Holyoke High School.
