Goewey Leads Mount Everett Girls to Road Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Emma Goewey scored 19 points Monday to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to a 40-30 win over Drury.

 

Goewey scored nine points in a pivotal third quarter, when the Eagles outscored their hosts, 15-9 to take a 31-25 lead.

 

Emily Steuernagle scored 10, and Mackenzie Ullrich added nine in the win.

 

Alyssa Russell scored seven, and Hanna LaCasse added six to lead the Blue Devils.

 

Drury (1-7) hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
