Drury Ascends in the Rankings

Each week, taking input from the the county's high school basketball coaches, iBerkshires.com will compile power rankings for the top boys and girls basketball teams in the county. If you're looking to see who the hottest teams are week by week iBerkshires.com has you covered. 

 

1. Taconic (14-4)

Taconic is trending in the right direction late in the season with six straight wins. With back-to-back games against Hoosac Valley, it will look to finish the regular season strong.

2. Drury (11-6)

With only a loss to Taconic in its last seven games, Drury is making a case for back-to-back Western Mass titles if it keeps up this pace.

3. Monument Mountain (10-5)

Still atop the Southern Division, Monument picked up a big independent win over Brattleboro. With four games to go, the Spartans will hope to keep that top spot a little longer.

4. Wahconah (11-4)

It has been an up-and-down couple weeks for Wahconah as they have been unable to string back-to-back wins since early January. With a couple tough tests coming up they will hope to get back on track.

Next Opponents: 2/10 @Southwick 2/12 Amherst

 

5 . Mount Greylock (12-6)

The Mounties are breathing down Monument’s back for that Division title and with two games to go they will need a slipup from the Spartans to take control.
