Patella Leads Lenox Boys to Win over McCann Tech

LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox boys basketball team Thursday used a big second quarter to take the lead and went on to a 57-39 win over McCann Tech.
 
The Millionaires trailed, 16-9, after one quarter, but Nick Nicotra and Andre Collins each scored seven points in the second to build a 28-24 lead at half-time.
 
Lenox had a balanced attack with four players finishing in double figures. Luke Patella led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Averin Paradise and Collins each scored 13. Nicotra scored 10 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and stole the ball seven times.
 
McCann Tech (0-1) got seven points from Darius Tovani and six from Sean Sumner.
 
The Hornets host Lee on Friday.
 
Lenox (3-0) hosts Taconic on Monday.
