WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Jonas Parker scored 20 points to lead four Mount Anthony boys basketball players in double figures as the Patriots handed Mount Greylock an 85-60 loss on Saturday night.
Zachary Ronnow scored a game-high 24 for Mount Greylock (3-3), who fell behind, 28-12, in the first quarter when Parker scored 10 points, all from the field.
“They’re a very good team,” Mount Greylock coach Bob Thistle said of the Patriots. “I was proud of my kids. We played hard to the end and put 60 points on the board, but we just did’t have an answer for their size, their speed and their athleticism.”
Sean McCormack scored 11 points for Mount Greylock.
Mount Greylock hosts Monument Mountain on Monday night.
