PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Charles Davis scored 17 points to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 57-55 win over Hoosac Valley on Tuesday night.
Taconic (11-7), which has won four in a row, jumped out out to a 20-7 first quarter lead thanks to 10 points from Reilly Balcom.
Hoosac (11-7) was down by 12 at half-time but outscored its hosts 34-24 after intermission.
Matt Koperniak scored 12 of his game-high 18 points in the second half. Nate Tomkiewicz scored 11 for the Hurricanes, who will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Friday at Drury.
Taconic hosts Pittsfield on Friday.
